The purpose of the 1st International seminar on Nikola Tesla is to celebrate a one hundred and fifty years of birth of Nikola Tesla whose inventions provide a rapid development of the technology in twentieth century.

Beside the historical and biographical aspects this seminar will also cover not only various scientific and technical aspects of his inventions, but also modern perception of his tremendously rich legacy.

Many aspects of Tesla's research work will be covered including: induction motor, polyphase alternative currents, wireless
power transmission, remote sensing, fluorescent light, vaccum photographic tube, cosmic radio waves, seizmology, etc.
